The Society has a stand at the National Eisteddfod every year, and organises various events.
An enjoyable and very successful week at the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Blaenau Gwent a Blaenau'r Cymoedd 2010. There was considerable interest in the exhibition Migrants from Blaenau Gwent by Eirionedd Baskerville ((read more here - PDF
). Afternoon activities were successful and as Edith MacDonald was the leader of the Undeb Cymru a'r Byd it was quite busy all week. A number of people from Y Wladfa were in the festival - especially early in the week.

There was an extremely busy week in and around the Cardiff National Eisteddfod 2008,
There was a daily event in the tent - the first Saturday launched books by Arie de Lewis Lloyd and Mario Jones; Monday - activities for children; Tuesday - a word by DL Davies on the connection between Abraham Matthews and Cardiff; Wednesday - musical items by Walter Brooks and Glenda Powell; at the annual meeting on Thursday we welcomed Gabriel Restuccia, Mayor of Gaiman, and Friday was Merched y Garth - who visited the colony recently singing in a musical setting of an awdl by R. Bryn Williams, Patagonia.
